About This Course
This intensive is your initial introduction to our trauma-informed approach to working with students. We will provide a basic overview of the brain and neural development, an understanding of trauma and its impact on student’s brain, and then explore many practical solutions to improve neural wiring and bring out your students’ best potential. This session will be a mixture of lecture, video testimony, reflection/discussion, and an opportunity to participate in some of the recommended solutions.
Requirements
Students will need the ability to view and listen to videos in addition to reading content.
